Fitted, Flexfit stretch-fit or snapback for a custom cap order? How each fits, how to size a group, which blanks to pick and what changes in price.

The closure decides how many sizes you have to forecast, how the cap looks and how many you will have left over. Here is how Battle Born Clothing walks buyers through it.

## True fitted: when it is worth it

Order true fitted when the buyer insists on the look and you can collect head sizes from every person. New Era fitted blanks are quoted per job through SanMar. For resale, true fitted means stocking eight sizes per color; most independent brands cannot carry that.

## Flexfit: the practical fitted

A Flexfit [6277](/products/flexfit-6277/), [5001](/products/flexfit-5001/), [6210](/products/flexfit-6210/) or [6297F](/products/flexfit-6297f/) covers an adult group in two or three ranges. For a mixed group we suggest about 15% S/M, 55% L/XL, 30% XXL (where offered). Use the [sizing chart](/guides/fitted-hat-sizing-chart/) if you can measure.

## Snapback: the no-measure option

One size, lowest risk, and the only one of the three with a published all-in price here: the [Richardson 112](/products/richardson-112/) at $20.00 each at 48 with flat embroidery. Flat-bill snapbacks such as the [YP 6089M](/products/yp-classics-6089m/) and [Flexfit 110F](/products/flexfit-110f/) give a fitted silhouette without sizes.

## What changes in price

Decoration does not change by closure: flat embroidery is $6.50 per cap at 48-59 whether the cap is fitted or snapback. The blank changes. Flexfit and New Era blanks cost more than a 112; we quote them per job. Sizes do not add cost, but leftover sizes do.

- Company crew: Flexfit 6277 or Richardson 110
- Resale or merch: a snapback (6089M, 110F, 511) or the 6210 in three sizes
- Cannot measure anyone: Richardson 112 or New Era NE400

## Questions
**Can I mix snapbacks and Flexfits in one order?** Yes. Each style is its own blank line; the decoration stays in one tier if the logo is the same.

**Do Flexfit sizes run small?** The band stretches, so most people fit the range their hat size falls in. If someone is on the line, size up.

**Is there a minimum for fitted caps?** No hard minimum. 12-23 caps is the smallest price tier.
